It's Happening - Part Two

The flight to JFK was uneventful, the best kind!  When offered a choice of snacks I apparently lit up at the mention of almonds, which tickled the flight attendant and he said that for that I deserved two packs! I watched "Cyrano" with Peter Dinklage. Who knew it was a musical??  

We landed at terminal 4 and, as luck would have it, our departure gate (seven hours from now) is right next door!  But poor Ginger arrives at terminal 2 and will have to come find us.  But she'll have four hours to do it!  She texted to say that her luggage was on board, but she hoped it was actually on board HER plane and not having an adventure of its own!!

We searched for a place to get a real meal and found Urban Bistro.  Not the best find.  You can only use the QR code to order unless you are willing to have all three orders on the same check.  Then you are blessed with a paper menu.  Luckily the three of us together could figure out the non-intuitive way to place an order.  The cheapest thing was an $18.00 rueben with a microscopic amount of sauerkraut and Russian dressing.  It came with homemade chips and water.  And the table came up to my chin!  But it was food and now we're ready for the long wait before our long (seven hour) flight to Edinburgh.  There should be dinner and wine on board, as well as a snack, so we'll be all set to take on the world when we deplane at nine-something tomorrow morning!
